In the studio

Hello All,

So the other day Union Shakedown (the band I play in) got to record at McNally Smith College of Music.  We thought "Hey, we have nothing to lose"  Let me tell you...it was wonderful.  Not only did we get to record for free (yes you heard right...free!), the studio is emaculate!!  They had us set up with Royer, Shure and Blue microphones!!  I just about pissed in my pants when I saw that.  The control room was all tricked out with a GIANT control board complete with a giant rack of Compressors, EQ's, Preamps and you name it's!  To top it all off, they had it all going through Protools!  They have a giant screen so that you cannot miss the action! If this is what "work" is for audio engineers, then ive gone into the wrong field.

So yeah, it was a good time.
